Travis Green is making a few changes to the lineup for the Senators' Saturday night clash against the Rangers.
Forward Andre Burakovsky is slated to replace Hayden Hodgson, while veteran goalie Jonas Johansson will man the crease, the head coach told reporters before puck drop (Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet+, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT).
Burakovsky slots back in after last playing on Oct. 17. In five games with the Sens this season, he is a -1 while averaging 12:49 of ice time a night.
It will be Johansson's first start with Ottawa after he was acquired in September. The 31-year-old was recalled from Belleville of the AHL on Thursday after the injury to Linus Ullmark.
In 25 games last season, Johansson sported a 3.29 goals-against average and an .884 save percentage while winning 11 games.
Meanwhile, captain Thomas Chabot, who's been sidelined for the last two games with an upper-body injury, will join the team on their upcoming five-game road trip with the expectation that he'll return to the lineup.
Chabot, 29, was named captain prior to the season and has one goal and three assists in nine games.
